1. What this service is

Pickleta runs the queue at a pickleball open play: players check in with a code, the rotation fills the courts, and scores are kept on the board. It is a tool used by the organiser of a session. It is not the organiser, it does not run the venue, and it is not a party to anything agreed between an organiser and their players.

2. Accounts

Only organisers need an account. Players join a session with a code and a name, and nothing is created for them unless they choose to make an account themselves.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it. An organiser account must be approved before it can run sessions, and approval is at our discretion.

3. What organisers pay

Every account gets 2 open plays free. After that an open play costs ₱100, or less bought in a block. Free sessions are limited to 2 courts and 18 players. A paid one runs up to 12 courts, with no limit on players.

Open plays you have bought do not expire. They are credit against this service, not money held on your behalf, and they are not transferable between accounts.

4. Money between you and your players

Whatever your players pay you — court fees, a door charge, nothing at all — is between you and them. It does not pass through Pickleta, we take no commission on it, and we hold none of it. Any figure shown on a session is a number the organiser typed in for their own players to see.

5. Payments to us, and refunds

There is no card gateway on this site. Payments are made by transfer and confirmed by a person, so an open play appears in your account once that transfer has been matched — usually the same day, but not instantly.

If we confirm a payment that did not arrive, or take one twice, tell us and we will put it right. Sessions you have bought and not yet run can be refunded on request. A session you have already run cannot.

6. Stopping a session

We may suspend a session, or an account, where we believe it is being used to harm somebody, to break the law, or to abuse the service. A suspended session stops for everyone including its organiser; nothing is deleted, and the results stay where they are.

We would rather ask first, and normally will. Where we do not, it is because waiting would make the harm worse.

7. Your content

Session names, venues, house rules, photographs you upload — they stay yours. You give us permission to show them to the people you invite to your session, and, where you list the session publicly, to anybody browsing open plays. Hiding a session withdraws the second permission, and you can hide one at any time.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, and do not upload pictures of people who have not agreed to it.

8. What we do not promise

This service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that the rotation will suit every group, or that a score somebody typed in is the score that was played. Check anything that matters before relying on it.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Injuries at your session

Pickleball is a physical sport played at a venue we have nothing to do with. Organising a safe session — the courts, the surface, the supervision, the insurance — is the organiser's responsibility, not ours.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. The version and date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the service after that means the new ones apply. Where a change materially affects what you have paid for, we will tell account holders directly rather than relying on this page.
